Fashion walk on high street

The longest fashion walk is happening at High Street Phoenix, where Gayatri and Atul Ruia launch Skyzone with an extravagant show featuring 120 models over 500 metres of ramp space. The Ruias, India’s first couple of retail, intend to elevate the retail therapy experience by offering premium lifestyle and fashion brands in a bigger, better and bolder avatar.

The brands selected for Skyzone, include Nautica, Next, Wills, Esprit, Forever New, Color Plus, Crocs, Da Milano, Tommy Hilfiger, Clarks, Guess and Body Shop amongst others.

International boat show kick-starts in Mumbai

The four-day Mumbai International Boat Show (MIBS) has proved to be a treat for all those who love the romance of luxury boats and high seas. The exhibits on display include a rich spread of over 50 deluxe yachts, kayaks, jet skis and sailboats by 30 top exhibitors from around the world.

The exhibition has attracted participation from international brands like Azimut, Yamaha, and YAKA and many more. The exhibition also has on display sub-marine aqua-scooters and inflatables, a perfect way to have fun on the waters.

Sail dream yacht for only a fraction of its cost

Fractional sailing is time-sharing for the use of the yacht among the owner and five or six other people. One has to pay only a fraction of the cost of the boat. Mumbai-based Aquasail will be soon launching this service for the uninitiated sailor.

Despite the absence of marinas to park, yachts are fast gaining popularity among the high net worth individuals. Boats ranging from Rs 20 lakh to over Rs 2 crore are the new symbol of luxury, just like foreign cars and executive jets.
