A look back and ahead in hot travel trends

It's been a wild year in travel - historic records for delays, but more people travelling than ever before. First, the hot, affordable destinations for 2008: India. This destination is exploding, and with good reason. During the last five years, foreign visitor arrivals to India have grown by almost 80 percent. The destinations that are also in vogue are Malaysia, Oman, Bulgaria and Argentina.
