Editorial
Diwali came and went in a whirlwind of color and sound – for the retail sector this was a great time as Indian shoppers really let go of their purse strings.
Protests over the entry of organized retail in grocery and food segment continue, and we now have a political party taking a stance on the issue too. The customer continues to remain silent – for not all of them are affected by the entry of the retail majors professionally. But as consumers, they stand to gain a whole lot - lower prices, better ambience and lots of job opportunities.
There is a lot happening in retail this month and the next, with the festive season carrying retailers and shoppers in a whirl. We, at Chillibreeze, are simply happy to see the good cheer flowing all around.
