Rajan Narayanan is the Founder - Director of Second Avenue, which provides advisory services to emerging companies in knowledge and high tech sectors. He brings rich insights and entrepreneurial flair to a global IT career spanning three decades.

Till recently as Senior Vice President at MindTree Ltd, he led the industry verticals of Retail, Media & Entertainment, Publishing Research and Information Services, Government and Construction & Realty. Prior to this he was responsible for IBM technologies group and the global relationship with IBM. He is on the board of the COMMON Americas Advisory Council.

Before joining MindTree in 2005, he was the founder-promoter of a software company at Bangalore, India, providing AS/400-related specialist services. As the COO and Vice Chairman, he was responsible for strategizing, lending technology direction to the company, deliveries and pre-sales activities. Prior to this Rajan was the CEO of a Chennai based 100% EOU IT services company where he has handled offshore projects since 1983.

He is widely travelled and has vast exposure in working with and supporting customers in varied industry segments in Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific
