BMTC buses for BIAL (Bangalore Airport) available online at www.redBus.in
BMTC has tied-up with redBus (www.redBus.in), India's first and largest online bus tickets service, to enable citizens to book tickets for BMTC's airport-city shuttle service online. These BMTC buses (Vayu vajra) are air-conditioned Volvo buses that pass through multiple boarding points in Bangalore. These buses have a designated space for luggage, thus adding to the convenience of traveling by a luxury bus to the airport. This service serves as a convenient and cost-effective means for all those who want to commute between Bangalore and the Bangalore International Airport (BIAL) and vice versa. Commuters can log on to www.redBus.in and book tickets in not more than 4 simple steps. What's better is that they get the option to choose their bus seat too. On the occasion, Phanindra Sama, CEO, redBus said "We are delighted to provide this value-added service through our portal to the citizens of Bangalore and those visiting this garden city. Currently we are serving all those customers who look for inter-city bus tickets. With this service, we are able to expand our portfolio of services and thus provide value to a larger section of the society. It's always a pleasure to work with a Government agency, especially with someone of BMTC's stature."
