Mr. Jaswinder Ahuja, Corporate Vice President & Managing Director Cadence Design Systems India is ISA Chairman 2008 – 09

Bangalore, India. April 28, 2008: The India Semiconductor Association (ISA), the trade body representing the Indian semiconductor driven industry today announced the appointment of their new Executive Council for the year 2008 - 09. The post of the Chairman will be held by Jaswinder Ahuja, Vice President & Managing Director, Cadence Design Systems and B.V. Naidu, Managing Director SemIndia Systems will be the Vice – Chairman.

The other executive council members are Dr Pradip Dutta Synopsys India, Sham Banerji Texas Instruments, Vivek Sharma ST Microelectronics, Dr. Satya Gupta Open-Silicon Research Pvt Ltd., Rajeev Mehtani NXP Semiconductors, Dr. Sunit Tyagi Intel Technologies, Ganesh Guruswamy Freescale Semiconductor and S Janakiraman President & CEO MindTree Ltd.

Announcing the new members on the ISA board, Ms. Poornima Shenoy, President, India Semiconductor Association said, “ISA has always believed in following a fair and open election process in selecting its office bearers. This Executive Council represents all segments of the semiconductor industry and both domestic and international design and manufacturing companies”.
