Wipro’s National Coding contest final held in Bangalore

Wipro Technologies conducted the grand finals of its 2nd Annual CodeZap Guru coding contest. Over 8000 students from premier Engineering colleges around India participated in the first round of the contest through the month of June, with the 14 regional winners being brought to Bangalore for the final round of the event. The event was aimed towards fostering a programming culture amongst the student community.

The National CodeZap Guru title went to Nicolo Davis of MSRIT College Bangalore, with Vijay S of Anna University, Chennai coming in second. The National winner received a Wipro laptop, with the runner up taking home an LCD TV. In addition, all 14 finalists took home exciting prizes in the form of iPods.
