Namdhari’s at Sahakar Nagar, Bangalore

Namdhari’s is synonymous with organic food products- fruits, vegetables, dairy products, cereals, juices and the like. They have opened a new outlet in Sahakar nagar (off Bellary road) a few months ago. The place is not very big and is right in the middle of the busy market street. Lack of parking (but that’s nothing new in Bangalore) is a disappointment as the road is narrow and has a lot of traffic, making on street parking a difficult option.

All the regular products are available but what disappointed me was the salad bar. Salads at other outlets of Namdhari’s (Indiranagar, Vyalikaval) are better preparations. The salad bar at Sahakar Nagar needs considerable improvement as the staff appears to be untrained and unfamiliar with the ingredients, even the raw material appeared stale (unlike Namdhari!).

There is considerable demand for interesting, quality food in this part of Bangalore city and Namdhari’s could well capitalize.

What holds promise is that this is a company synonymous with quality and fresh products and there is bound to be improvement over time
